The Process
An experiment in 7/4 time that took place shortly after I bought a Roland W-30 Sampling Keyboard in 1990. I was fascinated by the fact that I could then compose music that I hear without the need to find musicians good enough to play and record it without a tremendous hassle. The Process was pure fun for me, and represented a new vista of music production. Sorry for the score. It is another piece caught in software obsolescence hell. I can only find this printout of the score done with the ancient Mark of the Unicorn "Professional Composer" software. So far I have not located the file to convert it into "Mosaic". The next step will be to print the score and parts in Mosaic for better output, then scan the hard copies to PDF format. That does not solve the problem of migrating the file again to XML format, but it will be better than keeping the piece in its present state.
